Format-specific instructions to be announced
Oral presentations
Talk durations, question time, slide format, upload procedures and audiovisual equipment will be confirmed in the presenter instructions. Plan to explain the research question, main contribution, evidence and limitations clearly.
Posters and demonstrations
Poster dimensions, mounting arrangements and setup times are not yet confirmed. Demonstrators will receive instructions on available equipment, power, connectivity and any safety or space requirements. Do not order a printed poster before dimensions are announced.
Accessible presentation preparation
- Use readable type and sufficient contrast on slides and posters.
- Describe important visual content verbally rather than relying on color alone.
- Caption prerecorded video and provide a transcript for audio content.
- Use descriptive link text and meaningful figure captions.
- Provide a text-based summary of complex diagrams or demonstrations.
