A community across disciplines
ACM Multimedia Asia brings together the multimedia research community to exchange work on how digital media is created, understood, delivered and experienced. Its research scope spans images, video, audio, language and their combinations, connecting foundational methods with systems and real-world applications.
The 2027 edition is being prepared. The conference dates, host location, venue and theme will be announced after confirmation. Researchers and participants from all regions are welcome to follow the preparations.
Research and exchange
The 2026 edition provides the reference for this site: regular and short papers, Brave New Ideas, demonstrations, a doctoral symposium, and proposals for special sessions, workshops, tutorials, grand challenges and panels.
The final 2027 track structure and program remain subject to approval. Each track page explains its research purpose and identifies the information still to be announced.
Participation for everyone
The planning approach places accessibility, respectful participation and diversity at the center of the conference experience. Access arrangements and inclusive activities will be published with clear status information, so participants can make informed decisions.

The 2026 website identifies VinUniversity in Hanoi, Vietnam as its venue and 15-18 December 2026 as its conference dates. Its theme is "AI-Native Multimedia Systems for Emerging Digital Economies." These details belong exclusively to 2026.
